BANNED PLAYERS TAKE SHINE OFF REDS START

The shine will be taken off the opening clash against Chelsea at Anfield after it was confirmed that two reds stars will be banned for the opening stages of the new season.

Steven Gerrard will be banned for one game due to his sending off in the last match of the season (against Chelsea!) and Markus Babbel will be banned for the first FOUR games of the season after his completely unnecessary violence in the reserve match against Everton in which he headbutted one of the blues.... What an idiot.
