FRENCH STAR SIGNS FOR REDS

Former Auxerre star Djibril Cisse signed in for Liverpool today in a £14 million deal.

The striker will be unveiled later this month, hopefully along with another few players, with the new manager Rafael Benitez.

Djibril Cisse was the top scorer in France last season, and grabbed 23 league goals.

He has announced that he hopes Michael Owen will stay on so that they can play together. 'We can achieve beautiful things together' he said.
